I hope the club members appreciates what Greg is doing at the airfield ( I certainly do) the man has incrediable committment to the grounds I would estimate his contribution in supplying his machinery alone would be in the vicinity of $8000 HE ACTUALLY WENT OUT AND REGISTERED HIS TRACTOR FOR USE AT THE FIELD, every time i go to work there he is there already does he ever go home?, I my opinion the field is well named and I would be bitterly disappointed if anyone disputed the fact  Cheers DAndo

Good one Dando.  I agree one hundred percent as I am sure any member who has been out there will approve of the great work Greg is doing.

I would like to order the new grass for the airfield to arrive on Thursday the15th of September. Before it is ordered I need to know how many members will be there to help lay it. I need to know by this Friday and if there is insuffiecent workers I cannot order the grass. Please put your name down or let me know.

Turf laying has been postponed due to inclement weather forecast for tonight & Thursday, falls of 35-50mm predicted. Still fairly wet at field for machinery and wet at turf farm.

Went out to the airfield today for a walk, lots of water everywhere, even if you could get your car to the carpark walking up to the field is a major exercise, taking off you would need floats on your plane & landing would be called a splash landing, needs a few weeks to dry out. Loads of weeds jumping out of the ground, lets hope after the next lot of rain on Wednesday that it might be it for a while. :(

A big thank you to RANBUILD sheds Warwick for erecting the shed in time for our big club day. They worked on Saturday to complete the job for us and the additional awning was a great success. Thank you!!! :)
