Rob from Wings Over the Downs is coming to our Car Boot Sale on the 16th of this month (April), if you wanted to order anything or have something delivered.
Looking forward to seeing what I can add to my collection, especially Real Engines... can't say that I have anything to sell, as I've only ever sold 2 things. One model that was too big to bring to Queensland and another that was a complex project that I never found time to finish.
...I'm a buyer, not a seller, but don't ever tell my wife that...

Just wondering if anyone has a prop balancer they would recommend .......   my HK magnetic balancer seems to be giving different readings when i turn the props over or reverse them on the spindle>>>   small props ie; 5X5---6X4...ECT..... seem almost impossible to get right....   Confused
Good day on Sunday, lots of interest with quite a few sellers on hand.
Yes Gbar, a good day.
Gbar, I know that you can't do anything about the grass dying off because it's so dry at the moment and it's a considerable amount of cost each time you water, so I won't complain about that, but the wind on Sunday was simply not acceptable. The direction was wrong and the rolling turbulence made landing rather stressful with a new model.
Do better next time please....
I'll message you when I'm planning to go flying in order to give you a bit of notice so that you can organise it for me. ;-)
Not a problem Marcel, I've organised to thin some more trees out on the eastern boundary to minimise the impact of turbulence. Meanwhile members with Gold or Silver wings have to be patient and adapt or copy how the non wing members cope with landing in 60k breezers. LOL
Just looking at Friday weather ...looks good if we dont get the possible storm predicted.....living in hope for a maiden Smile
Sorry Kennyglide but I hope it rains tomorrow, finished the base for the clubhouse today. Put down 90 tons of fill & levelled out the pad & rolled it. Need the rain to pat it down a bit more. Hope to get the boxing done next week & prepare to pour the concrete sometime soon. Walls sand & gravel donated the fill & delivered it for free. Can't get any better than that!!
If we had to buy the fill it would have cost us around $2500. Kev Madsen spent the afternoon rolling & levelling pad, did a bloody good job. The photos are of the early stages of preparation, I used the Fergie to spread the dirt before Kev madsen turned up. Will post some photos of finished pad tomorrow.
UNREAL .....you're a LEGEND Greg....great photos.... i'll be down to have a look...hope to see you then....  Big Grin
