Scanner racing is basically the fun version of pylon racing, if you spent up to $2000 on a carbon fibre racer and crashed your finance minister wouldn't allow you to continue. So we have Scanner racing. Maybe someone will film this Sunday's antics to encourage more racing amongst the clubs!!

Just received an email directing that the private sale of aircraft and associated equipment must not be carried out while situated on Warwick Aero Modellers facilities. Boot sales will be conducted regularly throughout the year........' Could someone please give a little more detail as to how and why this has come about.. and how regular the boot sales will be ect... Why are BOOT sales OK but a sale between a couple of friends/ members not OK..???. Up to this point we we have been free to buy and sell or swap our bits and pieces as we like .... it is an important and integral part of our sport .ie: (the freedom to be with with our fellow members/mates and just do what normal good people do in any sport ...that is swap bits/equipment/ ect just simply to help each other out.... part of our so called fellowship....sell a cheap plane to a new member just to help him/her get started in the sport ...we all know people turn up at the club from time to time with a plane or other bits to sell and have often travelled from a distant club to do so and likewise some of our members have purchased planes from other clubs.. this will make things difficult.. (THIS RULING CAN ONLY BE DETRIMENTAL TO OUR CLUB) Any information and clarification on this matter welcome ....PS.. i was not at the last meeting so there is a possibility that i missed the discussion on this matter,if so i apologise .

Would the person who took the bottle of fuel for the boomerang 60 please return the bottle. It was left beside the boomerang for the enjoyment of the next person to use.

I can't comment in the 'Fees' thread, so will ask here.
After today's meeting, what did we decide on for our fees for next year? Just wondering in case I need to list my grandmother on gumtree soon...
